Hello everyone! In this blog post, I'm going to talk about three different types of magazines genres. The reason they are put into different categories is to differentiate from each other. There are many types of topics to cover and if you put it all together, it would be too chaotic. 

Genre 1: International


D-Icon Magazine is a magazine brand that features Korean Idols and get them recognition. This magazine includes collectibles like photo cards, posters, and much more. Each idol in a group gets their own issue and it's a race to collect each member in a group. 

Genre 2: Music


Billboard Magazine is one of the most influential music magazines that is in the Music Industry. Billboard Magazine includes internationally recognized songs by different artists and uses their magazines to advertise them to get them recognition.  

Genre 3: Fashion


Vogue Magazine is the world's most viewed fashion magazine. They target young adult women to help influence their fashion choices and their goal is to create high-quality fashion and create beauty trends that will be powerful in the future.

Blog #12: Magazine Style Guide

  Magazine Style Guide Hey guys! For today's blog, I have created a magazine-style guide on Canva. I made this to show y'all the style I want my magazine to be and improve my Canva skills. I named all the fonts I wanted to use for the elements of my magazine. I included the MastHead, Coverlines, Article headlines and subheadlines, and the caption details and headers. I wanted to use neutral colors for my color palette but add details that would also make it pop.
