Reflection Planning

Hey loves! For this blog, I will tell you about my creative, critical reflections and plan. According to the AICE Media Studies AS Level syllabus, "On completion of the product, candidates must creatively reflect upon their work. Candidates may use any digital format, such as director commentaries, a presentation with voiceover, podcasts, or screencasts. Candidates may use a different digital format to explore each of the compulsory questions. The creative critical reflection should be produced and presented individually." 

Question 1: What format will you follow for the creation of your project?

I will be making a presentation with my voice over it. 

Question 2: How will you incorporate examples and/or explanations for your responses to the required questions: 


Question 3: How will we access your presentation?

My voiceover will be uploaded to Youtube, and the link will be posted on my next blog.

Blog #7: FlatPlan

  Flat Plan Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be showing you my flat plan for my magazine. The flat plan is a page plan of a publication that shows how the articles and advertisements are laid out and the order it is supposed to go in.  So, for my Flat plan, I decided to add 2 feature stories and 4 sub-stories. I also added 9 advertisements as well as a crossword puzzle and a word search. As I was making this, I came across a struggle of being able to only do desi clothes. So, in the future, I might add other cultures and change the title of my magazine, so it isn't zoned in on one particular culture. But for this "issue", I can feature a certain country or countries, this one being India and all the Southern Asian countries. The word search and crossword can include other countries and different types of clothing items different cultures wear.

Blog #12: Magazine Style Guide

  Magazine Style Guide Hey guys! For today's blog, I have created a magazine-style guide on Canva. I made this to show y'all the style I want my magazine to be and improve my Canva skills. I named all the fonts I wanted to use for the elements of my magazine. I included the MastHead, Coverlines, Article headlines and subheadlines, and the caption details and headers. I wanted to use neutral colors for my color palette but add details that would also make it pop.
